Puebla Update

Hola,

Yesterday was an incredible day. We got a lot accomplished a lot at the high school. The highlight however came when the work at the school was finished and we made our way to the main building to prepare the evening meal.

There was a church service before dinner. Two people from Northwood gave testimonies. One of the children got up and gave hers. It may not be appropriate to give the details but the story was heart wrenching. We take a lot for granted.

Everyone at Alto Refugio seemed to really enjoy the meal. The adults REALLY enjoyed the night off. We bought the kids ice cream for dessert with carmel and chocolate toppings. I do not believe they get much ice cream. They went crazy. Three gallons dissappeared in about 15 minutes.

We have two young people on this trip. One of them has spent the last 3 nights, and one spent last night at the orphanage. They have made many new friends.

Once again, there is much to say. Our van will be here in about ten minutes so I need to sign off.
